The team
Electric Aircraft Propulsion AS was founded in 2020 to create the Nordic Air Racing Team, the first electric air racing team in Scandinavia. Founding partners were Equator Aircraft AS, Inet AS and Sola Aircraft Center AS and the aim was to develop an all-electric powertrain to be used in Air Racing.
Among the founding partners, Equator Aircraft has been involved with developing electric drivetrains and designing novel aircrafts since 2012, and thus is in a good position to further develop these products in a high-paced racing environment. Their passion and dedication to develop new planes quickly is a precious asset, giving confidence that the team will be able to produce one new powertrain and increase their performance at each new Air Race E season.
Rein Inge Hoff
Test Pilot, Test programming
Rein Inge Hoff is an experienced aerobatic pilot who flies in air shows in high performance aircrafts like the F-51D Mustang and the Supermarine Mk XVI Spitfire. His experience as an Aerospace Engineer (PhD), and as a light aircraft test pilot, is very useful in the development phase of the aircraft. Rein Inge is responsible for the experimental flight testing of the electric powertrain modification.
